Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Pickup from Guwahati airport/station. Transfer to Shillong (3 hours). En route visit Umiam Lake (Barapani). Check-in at Shillong hotel. Evening Police Bazar walk. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 2: Cherrapunji Excursion
Full day trip to Cherrapunji. Nohkalikai Falls (tallest plunge waterfall). Mawsmai Caves exploration. Seven Sisters Falls. Thangkharang Park. Living Root Bridge (single decker). Return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong to Mawlynnong
Drive to Mawlynnong (2 hours) - Asia's cleanest village. Living Root Bridge (Riwai). Balancing Rock. Sky Walk (bamboo structure). Drive to Dawki. Umngot River boating (crystal clear water). Indo-Bangladesh border visit. Return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong Sightseeing
Don Bosco Museum (largest cultural museum). Elephant Falls. Shillong Peak (highest point). Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Ward's Lake. Golf Course (one of the oldest). Evening at leisure. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong to Kaziranga
Early morning departure. Drive to Kaziranga (6 hours). Check-in at resort. Afternoon Jeep Safari (Central Range). Rhino sighting. Bird watching. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 6: Kaziranga to Guwahati Departure
Morning elephant safari (5:30 AM). Breakfast at resort. Transfer to Guwahati (4 hours). Kamakhya Temple visit (optional). Drop at airport/station.
