Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri
Pickup from airport/station. Transfer to Gangtok (5 hours). En route Teesta River views. Check-in at Gangtok hotel. Evening MG Marg walk. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake
Early morning departure (7 AM). Drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft). Yak ride at the lake. Baba Mandir visit (New Baba Mandir). Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability). Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing
Tashi View Point (sunrise - optional). Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre. Institute of Tibetology. Do-drul Chorten. Flower Show and White Hall. Gangtok Ropeway ride. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling
Morning drive to Darjeeling (4 hours). Tea garden visits en route. Check-in at Darjeeling hotel. Evening walk on Mall Road. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Tiger Hill sunrise (4 AM - spectacular). Ghoom Monastery (oldest in Darjeeling). Batasia Loop and Gorkha War Memorial. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling Exploration & Departure
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train joy ride). Happy Valley Tea Estate tour. Shopping for tea and handicrafts. Transfer to Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri. Departure.
