Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
Pickup from Kochi airport/railway station. Drive to Munnar (4 hours - scenic route). En route visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls. Check-in at hill resort. Evening nature walk. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Exploration
Sunrise at Mattupetty Dam. Shikara boat ride. Tea plantation visit and factory tour. Eravikulam National Park (Nilgiri Tahr). Photo point for valley views. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady
Morning spice garden visit. Drive to Thekkady (3 hours). Check-in at hotel. Afternoon boat safari in Periyar Lake. Evening Kathakali dance show. Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey
Morning nature walk in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Elephant ride (optional). Drive to Alleppey (4 hours). Board houseboat by 2 PM. Cruise through backwaters. Sunset on the lake. Overnight on houseboat.
Day 5: Backwaters to Kanyakumari
Morning on houseboat. Breakfast while cruising. Disembark at 9 AM. Drive to Kanyakumari (5 hours). Evening at Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Sunset at confluence of three oceans. Overnight in Kanyakumari.
Day 6: Kanyakumari to Kovalam
Sunrise at Kanyakumari beach. Visit to Thiruvalluvar Statue. Suchindram Temple visit. Drive to Kovalam (3 hours). Relax at Kovalam beach. Beachside seafood dinner. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 7: Kovalam to Trivandrum Departure
Morning at leisure on beach. Ayurvedic massage (optional). Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Shopping at Connemara Market. Transfer to Trivandrum airport/station.
